Founder of Dentalandme

I’m Lamia Murray - consultant, educator, and speaker working at the intersection of people, processes, and digital innovation in dentistry.

Dentalandme was created to support dental practices through meaningful, sustainable change - helping teams not just adopt innovation, but embed it confidently into everyday practice life.

My Background

My career in dentistry spans clinical, operational, and leadership roles, giving me a deep, practical understanding of how dental practices function day to day.

I began my career in dental nursing before moving into treatment coordination, practice management, and service development. These roles shaped how I work today - grounded in real-world experience, empathy for teams, and a clear understanding of the pressures faced by practices.

As a Service Development Manager, I work closely with practices to introduce new services, implement digital technology, train teams, and support leadership through change - always with a focus on sustainable growth and team confidence.

My Approach

I believe innovation only works when people feel confident, supported, and properly trained. Technology alone does not drive progress - teams do.

My approach focuses on:

supporting people through change
embedding systems and workflows properly
building confidence at every level of the team
aligning clinical, operational, and commercial goals

I work collaboratively with practices, taking time to understand how teams function and tailoring support accordingly. The aim is not quick fixes, but long-term consistency and clarity.

Alongside consultancy work, I’m actively involved in education and speaking within the dental industry.

I’m also a 3Shape Ambassador, working closely with teams to support confident adoption of digital dentistry and intra-oral scanners.
